Puragen™ and Prevelle™ by Mentor Corporation
What is Puragen?
Puragen is a NASHA hyaluronic acid filler that is used to correct moderate to deep lines or wrinkles in the face. Puragen implements double cross-linked DXL™ technology in their hyaluronic acid gel. This may allow for increased resistance to absorption and longer lasting correction. This product is not as yet FDA approved.
What is Prevelle?
Prevelle is also a hyaluronic acid filler. Prevelle is intended for treatment of fine to moderate lines and wrinkles of the face. This product is not as yet FDA approved.
How long will the results last?
Puragen results may last six months or longer. Longevity of Prevelle will depend upon the areas treated and the structure of your skin. Further information about the unique advantages and disadvantages of these products will become known with increased experience in the US plastic surgical community upon future FDA approval.
